I Can Never Think Of A Title

I don't know why but I always have trouble coming up with a title for my posts. Is it just me? Or am I just that uncreative?

So on Sunday, I got to see my cousin Kendra. She is only a year and a half old & the cutest little girl ever [okay, maybe I'm just partial but she's still cute]. She is so smart & it completely amazes me. I never knew kids that young could be that smart. We took her outside in the snow & she loves playing in it [& eating it lol]. She loves it so much that she screamed when we took inside. Like full-out throwing herself on the ground, screaming lol After Kendra left, Anthony & I went in to see his mom & have dinner with her. She made the most amazing stromboli I've ever had in my life. My mouth is seriously watering right now thinking about it.

Oh yea, I also wanted to give you some details about my trip to Florida. We're leaving Thursday after Anthony & I finish some tests that we have that day. Then we're going to start driving [yes, I said driving] down once we get everything packed up. The whole reason we're going down is so Anthony can race the amateur day in Daytona. The pros will be there on Saturday & then Sunday Anthony will try to qualify for the main event on Monday. But before we do all of this, we're going to visit his grandparents [they live about one or two hours south of Daytona]. I don't even think I could put into words how excited I am. This will be my second time going to Florida. The first time I went was to Disney & I had so much fun!

I also want to wish my Grandma Daisy a Happy Birthday :) She's the greatest grandma ever :)

Sorry this post is like all over the place & random. I think I have ADD or something lol

xo

P.s. I'm really starting to think I'm overly dramatic about everything I talk about... sorry about that :p

Oops...

I know, I know. I've broken my promise. I had all intentions of writing everyday but you see how well that turned out lol But I have some pretty good excuses.

Wednesday night I was up until 11:30 working on homework [you will learn that I hardly ever stay up late]. I had to do an accounting project for my devil woman of a teacher [don't even get me started on her!] & I had to finish my personal web page for my Web Page Development class. Needless to say, I was not very awake the next morning.

My term is finally coming to an end. I have finals Wednesday & Thursday next week & that means that Spring break is ALMOST HERE! Which also means that Anthony & I are going to... FLORIDA [sorry I'm getting overly excited haha]. I have been dying to get away from this snowy, 30 degree weather! I'm also super excited because this will be Anthony & I's first vacation together! So you could say I'm pumped. Actually, pumped would be an understatement. I'm [insert word that would describe being so excited that you could pee]. Okay, I'm done being ridiculous now haha I'll write a post later this week giving you more details about our trip [hey, don't roll your eyes at me, I promise I'll write one...maybe :)].

So anyway, yesterday Anthony & I went to the Olive Garden with our friends Billy & Claire. The place was packed but we only waited a little over a half an hour. I got the Seafood Alfredo & it was delicious. Little did I know, however, that they put scallops in with the shrimp. Here I am thinking I was eating little balls of shrimp [I should've known it wasn't shrimp] when Anthony tells me that they are scallops. Oh well, turns out I like scallops haha Then we got White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake for dessert. It was good but I wasn't too impressed with the oreo crust [I personally like graham cracker crust]. After we were done eating, we rented The Hangover II. It's pretty much the exact same story storyline as The Hangover. But whatever, we all had fun just hanging out & talking about high school memories :)

Hope you're having a good weekend :)

Happy Tuesday! :)

I'm trying to get better at blogging so I'm on a mission to post everyday [we'll see how long this lasts ;)].

Yesterday, my mom &* I decided to go on a walk. It was beautiful out, a little chilly, but still, a nice day :)

Today, my friend Julie &* I met at Wal-mart &* then I drove her &* I over to Target. I seriously have a mad, passionate love for Target. Their clothes are super cute &* they have reasonable prices. I found a ton of cute things there but I don't have enough money to buy everything I saw lol These are a few things that I did buy :)

navy/pink multi-stripe skater dress - $19.99
pink clutch - $12.99
friendship short, pisa dark wash - $17.99
pant, grey animal - $17.99
black belt - $16.99

After we left Target, we went to PetSmart. I found the most adorable, cutest, cuddliest [is that a word?], sweetest little hamster that I have ever seen in my entire life. I'm not even joking. I wish I would've taken a picture of it because I know you would fall in love just like I did. I want one SO bad!

Julie &* I were starving by this time so we decided to go to T.G.I. Friday's. That was my first time going there &* it was amazing. I got a Mango Peach Slushy [which was delicious], Sizzlin' Chicken &* Shrimp, &* Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. It was presented so wonderfully that I didn't want to eat it, but I'm so glad I did lol Never, in my life, have I ever tasted such a delicious tasting cheesecake. It was seriously melt. in. your. mouth.! Here's a picture for your enjoyment :)

Hope you had a lovely Tuesday!

The Oregon Trail

That's honestly what I felt like I was riding my bike on yesterday. I swear it seemed like it was never going to end. We [well actually Anthony's dad &* I] ended up biking 10 miles yesterday &* I am so sore! I thought I was in pretty good shape but clearly, I'm not lol Anthony's 50 year old dad even kicked my butt haha

Anthony, on the other hand, biked 12 miles. He completely amazes me. I have never met anyone in my entire life who is as in shape as he is. I can definitely tell that his training has been paying off. He is such a motivated person &* I will say it again [or maybe 239473 more times] that he inspires me. He makes me want to work my butt off so I can be even half as in shape as he is.

Here are some pictures from our bike ride. I would've taken more but I was pretty much dying the whole time. I even told Anthony to just leave me there because I didn't think we would ever make it back to the truck.

Sorry the pictures didn't turn out very well. I forgot to change the setting on the camera.

Hope you had a great weekend :)

The Weekend Isn't Over But....

I wanted to share with you some things that happened over the weekend so far :)

Anthony &* I didn't get to spend Valentine's Day together because he goes to school 3 hours away [bummer]. So he gave me my present on Thursday. I gave him his present last weekend [I'm an over achiever :)]. Oh yea, I forgot to tell you, he comes home every. single. weekend. Yep, I get to see him every weekend :) But anyway, he didn't get me the typical Valentine's Day present [which I'm glad he didn't]. He got me these awesome speakers for my iPod!

Then Friday, my mom &* I went for a 6 mile walk with her friend Judy &* man am I feeling. About every muscle in my body aches but it's a good achy feeling [if that makes sense? lol]. Friday night, Anthony &* I went to our favorite restaurant, Pizza Hut. We seriously go there so much that the people that work there know us lol But unfortunately, it took forever for us to get our pizza. We seriously waited over a half an hour! But the cute little old man that was our waiter is always so nice to us, so we couldn't be mad.

Saturday morning Anthony went to work &* then went to get the windows tinted on the van. My dad &* I then met him at his mom's house so we could head out to West Virginia so he could practice at Tomahawk MX.

Here's some pictures...

Saturday night we ordered wings from The Main Event &* they were so good!

Today, I'm waiting for Anthony to get back from helping his dad &* then him, his dad &* I are going for a bike ride :) Stay tuned for more pictures!

The Ellen Show - Sophia Grace &* Rosie

So you're probably getting sick of me posting videos lol but I promise this is that last one [for now :)]. I just recently have found a new love for The Ellen Show. I just love Ellen. She is such a sweet woman &* has a huge heart. The things she does for people just blows my mind.

Well on The Ellen Show, two very talented little girls were discovered. Their names are Sophia Grace &* Rosie. If you haven't seen them perform yet, you'll probably fall in love as quickly as I did.

Here is a video of them at The Grammy's. These little girls seriously crack. me. up.

Check out their youtube channel by clicking here.

Kiss Me Slowly

This is my absolute favorite song [at the moment lol] &* it seriously makes my heart melt. I think of Anthony everytime I hear it  :)

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

You Sneaky Mom

I don't know if you watch Jimmy Kimmel or not but back around Halloween he issued a challenge. He told parents to tell their kids that they had eaten all of their Halloween candy. I watched plenty of videos but these two little boys captured my heart.

I don't know how many times I have watched this video but I laugh hysterically every time lol

Over The Weekend

So I have to say, this weekend was pretty fun!

Friday:

Anthony's friend, Billy, just got back from serving overseas [he's part of the military police] so we wanted to spend some time with him. Billy, Billy's girlfriend Claire, Anthony &* I went to the movies to see Chronicle &* I thought it was a really good movie. After, we went to Eat N Park for dessert :)

Saturday:

Despite the horrible snowstorm we had, my mom &* I were crazy enough to go shopping at the mall. I bought some cute shirts to wear when Anthony &* I go to Florida in March. Anthony worked on his van all day until we went in to eat dinner with his Nana. We had crab [which was absolutely delicious].

Sunday:

This was seriously the greatest day ever! I got to go to my first hockey game &* it was a blast. I'm happy to say that we beat Tampa Bay 4-2 [sorry to all you Tampa Bay fans]. I promised you some pictures so here they are...

Did you do anything fun this weekend?

Let's Go Penguins!

Today, Anthony, his dad, his dad's girlfriend, &* I are going to the Penguins game! This is my first time going to a hockey game &* I'm super excited :)

Stay tuned for pictures to come...

&* for me to tell you all about my weekend :)

Pearly Whites

So this has nothing to do with motocross but I wanted to share with you something that I'm super excited about.

I just started using Equate Advanced Strength Xtreme Whitening Wraps  &* they are absolutely amazing. You can find it at Wal-Mart for $14.97. They're the cheapest ones because all the other ones were like $5 billion...okay maybe not that much but they were pretty expensive.

Here's what they look like...

There is a tray for the upper teeth &* the lower teeth. You only have to wear them for 30 minutes a day for 7 days. It says if after 7 days you would like to whiten your teeth even more, you can use a second package for another 7 days. It also says to use every 6 months to keep your teeth looking whiter.

Here's a picture of me after using them for 3 days...

So you probably can't see a difference because, well, you've never seen my teeth before that haha :) But honestly, I see a huge difference &* I highly recommend them.

Okay, I'm done now lol

Always Be Prepared

Today I thought I'd share with you the things that I think are essential to have a fun &* comfortable day at the track.

Always Be Prepared

1. Rain Boots - always make sure you have these handy [even if you don't wear them] because you never know when a sudden rain shower may come along &* you can wear them just to keep your feet from getting muddy because, well, you're at a motocross track lol
2. Fleece Jacket - a fleece jacket is good to have on those chilly mornings when you're up before the chickens :)
3. Sunglasses - make sure to keep these with you when you're out watching the races so you don't have to be squinting all day.
4. Sunscreen - I made the mistake of not wearing sunscreen one day when I was at the track &* there was absolutely no shade whatsoever, so I ended up with this horrible sunburn. So now I make sure I always put sunscreen on before the day starts &* keep it with me to put on throughout the day.
5. Nook® - there's going to be some down time in between motos so it's always good to bring along your nook [or even a book] to make the time pass.
6. Camera - instead of just standing around watching the races, why not take some pictures?

Do you have things that you take to the track? I would love to be able to add more to my list :)

Off To Maryland

Over the weekend, Anthony had decided that he wanted to race at Budds Creek [a track in Mechanicsville, Maryland]. So at 3 a.m. Sunday morning, I drug myself out of bed so my dad, Anthony, &* I could make the 5 hour drive down to Maryland. It's a pretty crazy drive, with the 4 lane highways, even at that early in the morning! We weren't sure how the weather was going to be because we had 2 inches back at home but, when we got down there it was only raining. Finally, around noon the the rain cleared off &* there were beautiful skies all around us.

Anthony's first &* second motos he got the holeshot &* ended up with a 5th &* 2nd place. The third moto he didn't get the holeshot but he managed to get another 5th place. Then his last moto he got another holeshot &* got yet another 2nd place. I was so happy with his riding. All his hardwork, with weight training &* practicing, has really paid off. He is such a hard-worker &* tries his best in everything he does, which makes me want to work harder in everything that I do as well.

Here are some pictures from the race...

The track...

Love At First Sight [well not really]

Good Morning :)

Today I thought I would tell you guys a little bit about how my boyfriend, Anthony, &* I first met.

We first met back in high school when I was a sophomore &* he was a junior. We were in the same Biology class &* he had said hi to me a few times when I would be walking into the classroom. He eventually texted my friend &* asked her if I had a boyfriend. Me being the shy girl that I was, I told her to tell him that I did [even though I really didn't ;)]. I had never really heard of Anthony &* I couldn't figure out why he would be in a sophomore Biology class when he was a junior [I thought maybe he wasn't very smart lol] Finally, I ended up deciding to take a risk &* told her to give him my number. To make a long story short, we started texting &* finally he asked me to be his girlfriend :) &* that was almost 3 years ago. So I guess you could say he has captured my heart<3

The first date he took me on, I met his whole family. Yes, you heard me, his WHOLE family [I know, scary, right?]. But I'm happy to say that they were all super nice to me &* now they're like my second family. The second date he took me, however, was to Pleasure Valley Raceway [a motocross track in Seward, PA] &* I have been hooked ever since.

Basically in this blog, I will be talking about my new found love of motocross &* what it is like to have a boyfriend who lives &* dreams about motocross 24/7. Yes my friends, he even pretends he's riding in his sleep ;)

First Time Blogger

Hi Everyone!

Well I've decided to join the bandwagon of bloggers! Bare with me while I try to figure all of this out lol

I'm making this blog so people can see what it's like to be a motocross rider's girlfriend. Let me tell you, you guys are in for a treat :)
